Jerzy Jankowski graduated from physical therapy school in Zabrze, Poland in 1984. He moved to the USA in 1986. He worked in private practice in San Jose for 4 years specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation. In 1990 he moved to Sacramento. He worked at Methodist Hospital for 3 years where he developed an interest in neurological rehabilitation, including stroke, TBI, MS, Ataxia and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. From 1993 to 2001 he worked in home health care and during this time he was advancing his research in new treatment for neurological conditions. He tested and retested his treatment with very good results. This inspired him to open up his own private practice, Neurological Rehab Center, in Rocklin, Ca, in 2001. He continued his research on stroke rehabilitation, Spasticity cure, Ataxia treatment, Parkinsons rehabilitation and toe walking rehabilitation. He feels he was fortunate to have met Dr. Raymond Turnure, MD, Dr. Kristin Ashley, MD and Dr. Nichlesh Thakur, DO, during his research who all assisted him with Botox treatment for his patients. He discovered the cause of toe walking and developed treatment which cures toe walking in children permanently. He has presented a lecture on toe walking for patients, doctors, physical therapists and occupational therapists and parents on YouTube. The full approach (treatment) can be accessed on this website. He is very happy that his hard work and years of research paid off and he is able to help children recover from this condition. Jerzy will present to the public in the near future his work on Ataxia rehabilitation, Spasticity cure and stroke rehabilitation. He is currently engaged in Parkinsons rehabilitation, testing his approach, with very good results so far. He still works full time in Northern California conducting his research and treating patients with various neurological conditions.
The Neurological Rehabilitation Center (NRC) has pioneered revolutionary techniques in the treatment of individuals affected by various neurological conditions including Strokes, Parkinson disease, Muscular Dystonia, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Ataxia, Toe Walking.
One of the myths surrounding neurological rehabilitation is that there is a limited window of time for recovery. The truth is that once the spasticity caused by the condition is broken down, the opportunity for recovery or additional progress is revealed and there is no time limit for improvement and progress. The center treats patients who suffered injuries up to 15 years previously, and these individuals still recover or experience significant improvements in mobility. The key is to remove the spasticity.
The NRC team strives to create a friendly, family atmosphere in the clinic that fosters a difference in the recovery process. The center’s team of professionals appreciates its patients and caregivers for trusting the center to provide much needed services. It is an honor and pleasure to partner with the patients in their journey to improve their health and wellbeing.
